For over 160 years, Giulio Giannini e Figlio specializes in artistic bookbinding, restoration of books and paper in addition to decorative leather items, comprising antique books and special or rare editions for collector. The motifs found on Giannini’s collection of 1500 historical tools, including stamps, allow our craftsmen, according to the project, to reproduce decorative elements from different eras or to create new and modern compositions.
Giulio Giannini and Figlio collaborates with libraries, museums and universities. Thanks to the mélange of art, craftsmanship and new technologies, the firm has been entrusted with prestigious projects including the replica of a 1672 microscope exhibited at Padua University’s History of Physics Museum.
